Our Ministries here at East Heights are numerous, and the best part is, you can be involved in all of them!

Children’s Ministry:

RiseUp Children’s Ministry is rooted in Psalms 94:16.  RiseUp Children’s Ministry is for children Kindergarten-6th grade.  We want our kids here at East Heights to have a personal relationship with God, and other Christians.  Worship here is a fun, high-energy atmosphere where children learn Bible truths in a fun way.  Check out more information by clicking the Children’s Ministry Tab.

Student Ministry:

God has blessed our Student Ministry here at East Heights. This program is for 7th-12th graders.  We try to do things that are fun, relevant, and exciting while teaching Bible truths.  To accomplish this we offer a number of chances to get involved.  To see how, click on the Student Ministry tab.

Worship Ministry:

Worship at East Heights is more than just some ‘singing and preaching’.  It’s about presenting our lives to a HUGE, LOVING GOD as a humble sacrifice for Him to work in and through to change the world.  Click on our Worship Ministry tab to see how you can get involved.

Senior Adult Ministry:

The Senior Adult Ministry is great!  We go on numerous trips, and have monthly activities. We have VIP, which meets every fourth Thursday in the Gym at 11:00 a.m.  This is a time of fun, fellowship, and entertainment. Everyone brings their favorite dish or two for a good potluck style lunch. We also have Game Day, which meets every second Tuesday in the Children’s Building at 11:30 a.m.  This is a time of fun and fellowship with refreshments. We also try to go somewhere monthly, like out to eat, or music in the park, or a special trip.

Sewing Ministry:

We have a Sewing Ministry that meets weekly on Wednesdays around 9:00 am in the Sewing Room (3rd floor).   We also have a Banner Ministry that meets weekly on Mondays around 9:00 am in the sewing room (3rd floor). God has really blessed both of these ministries with multiple machines and rooms full of materials. They craft items for hospitals, nursing homes, Operation Christmas Child, overseas missions, costumes for church plays, banners and many others. They not only work hard but they have a a great time doing it!

Helping Hands Ministry:

Need some troublesome tree limbs cut down? Do you need some handicap access improvements, like a ramp or railings? What about just simple light bulbs being changed? Our Helping Hands are ready to serve! Just contact the church office for more info.

Grief Meals Ministry:

Whenever a loved one of a church member passes away we provide a good meal for them to show our care and support. If you would like to be part of this ministry, please contact the church office.
