What to Expect

We want to answer some "Common Questions" that are asked.

 

What do I wear when I come?

Here at East Heights we want you to feel comfortable Worshiping God.  So come just as you are.

 

 

When do I need to be there?

Our Sunday School starts at 9:00a.m. Our classes range from pre-school to Senior Adults to Young Adults to Singles. Our Services start at 10:00a.m.

 

 

How can I get involved?

We have many different Prayer Groups that meet on various night.  Check out our Prayer Groups in the Members Tab for more information. 

 

 

Will I be 'called out' because I'm a visitor?

No!  We want you to feel at home at East Heights.  We do encouarge you to fill out a guest card and turn it in, but we will not make you the center of attention. 

 

 

Will I be asked to give money?

Offerings are given as an act of worship for members of East Heights Baptist Church. For new visitors, we want you to be blessed without feeling obligated to give.

 

 

What kind of music will I hear? 

We sing contemporary style music, but we also sing hymns that are reworked.

 

 

What will my children be doing while I am worshiping?

While you are worshiping, so are your children.  We have a worship service geared just for them. 

 

 

How long does the worship experience last?

Our worship service typically last one hour.
