Covid-19 Action Plan

EHBC COVID-19

Action plan

Taken from CDC Implementation of Mitigation Strategies for Communities

Level 1 - None/Minimal

We define this level as being no cases in Lee County.

EHBC will do the following:

  1. EHBC will identify those who are at risk and who depend on our church and its members for help. We will be developing a ministry plan for checking on them.
  2. EHBC is taking extra steps to make sure our facility is clean and disinfected.
  3. EHBC is making every effort to keep members informed about the church and important information about COVID-19.
  4. EHBC is supplying extra hygiene supplies at the facility.
  5. All church travel is canceled to areas above Level 1.
  6. EHBC is encouraging people to be safe, use common sense, and stay home if they are in a high-risk category and practice safe distancing. We ask people to inform EHBC if someone becomes sick.

Level 2 – Moderate

We define this level as having 1 or more cases in Lee County and the likelihood of transmission has been deemed high.

EHBC will do the following:

  1. EHBC will have one Worship Service at 10:00 am on each Sunday while we are at this level.
  2. In accordance with CDC Mitigation directives, EHBC will CANCEL all Sunday School, Sunday night activities, Wednesday night activities, Life Groups, and any other activities except the 10:00 am Worship Service.
  3. EHBC will provide a Midweek Bible Study that will be posted online.
  4. EHBC will continue to minister to one another in every possible way.
  5. Our ministry team will continue to work and serve as long as they are able.
  6. EHBC will provide regular prayer updates for church members.

Level 3 – Substantial

We define this level as having multiple cases in Lee County and the likelihood of transmission has been deemed very high.

EHBC will do the following:

  1. EHBC will CANCEL all activities including the 10:00 am Worship Service to the public.
  2. EHBC will continue to offer a live-stream of the 10:00 am Worship Service for members to join online. It will also be offered via other sources including DVD.
  3. EHBC will continue to offer a Midweek Bible Study as in Level 2 if possible.
